There have been many single releases this year as something changed quite dramatically in my music.
I could only sit and work when the time felt right and I was neither driven to create another concept album, nor in the mood to set out to create a new project.
In return, I ended up producing a lot iof music that was rather jumbled and chaotic and I didn't feel much of it had a connection or an ability to be collected together to fit an album, until now.
There are a number of single releases that would not fit the dynamic of this particular album, but the tracks I have been listening to and arranging for this album, do have structure and order if placed in the way I have.
Plus there is a brand new track on this album that goes back to a time earlier in this year or the latter part of last year that gels well with a recent release!
I really went through an extraordinary limbo state this year and it's not surprising that certain things fell apart, creativity changed and there was a huge loss of focus and direction.
But I knew that at some point I would find the time and assemble the tracks to see if it would be feasible to make an album and eventually I utilised time today to create this.
I hope that you enjoy listening and find it's a good collection of work that contiunes to shape the evolvement of my music.
I learnt a lot this year and look forward to the planned projects!
